Sodalean Review: How to Measure Whether Any Weight Supplement Works
Everything on this site eventually depends on one skill: measuring your own weight well enough to know whether something worked. Almost nobody does it correctly.
Body weight swings one to two kilograms across a normal week. Only weekly averages see through that.
Why single readings mislead
Body weight is not a stable quantity read off a dial. It changes constantly with fluid balance, glycogen stores, sodium intake, gut contents, hormonal cycle and how recently you ate.
A one-to-two kilogram swing across a normal week is completely ordinary and reflects no change in body fat whatsoever. Each gram of stored glycogen holds several grams of water with it, so a day of higher carbohydrate intake can add a kilogram overnight that means nothing.
Which means that if you weigh once before starting a supplement and once after, you can produce almost any result you like — and you will unconsciously produce the one you expect.
Measuring properly
Same time, same conditions, every day. Morning, after the bathroom, before food or drink, minimal clothing, same scale on the same hard floor.
Record every reading, including the ones you dislike. Selectively recording good days is the most common way people mislead themselves.
Compare weekly averages, never individual days. Seven readings averaged removes most of the noise, and a four-week comparison of weekly averages will show a real trend that daily numbers hide entirely.
Add waist circumference weekly, at the navel, at the same point in your breathing. It often moves when weight does not, particularly if you have started resistance training.

Making the result mean something
Establish a baseline first. A fortnight of readings before you start anything. Without it you have an ending number and nothing to compare it to.
Change one thing at a time. This is where nearly everyone fails. Starting a supplement, cutting snacks and walking after dinner in the same week produces a result you cannot attribute — and people reliably credit the capsule, because that is the thing they paid for.
Track appetite too. Score hunger between meals 1 to 5 each afternoon. It is the outcome these ingredients most plausibly affect, it responds faster than weight, and almost nobody measures it.
Read the result at week seven, inside even the shorter guarantee. Run it this way once and you will have a method that works on every product you are ever tempted by.
Three official sites, three different products
This is the finding that shapes everything else, and you can verify it in about two minutes by opening the pages side by side.
One site sells a powder. Its own copy says “one scoop a day — no pills, no fuss,” and tells you to stir it into a glass of cold water. Its ingredients are listed as Green Tea Extract, Apple Cider Vinegar, a “Fiber Blend” and a “Vitamin B Complex”.
Another sells capsules built around Chicory Root Inulin, Potato Resistant Starch and a three-strain probiotic blend, and instructs you to refrigerate the bottle after opening.
The bottle artwork shows an “Advanced Metabolic Formula” capsule, 30 per bottle, with icons for appetite control and fat metabolism.
A prebiotic gut formula, a thermogenic drink powder and a metabolic capsule are three different products. Research on one page and order from another and you have no reliable idea what arrives.
Independent background reading, none of it selling anything: PubMed, CDC on healthy weight and WHO on obesity. For the applied version of this on our own pages, see the full ingredient breakdown and interaction table or the Sodalean official website reference.
What we would do
Read the ingredient list and the guarantee text on the exact page taking your money, and screenshot both with the date visible — the official pages describe different products on different terms. Take the smallest package. Photograph the Supplement Facts panel when it arrives and compare it against what you were sold. Weigh at the same time each morning and compare weekly averages rather than individual days. And diarise day 50, assuming the shorter version of the guarantee applies.
Frequently asked
Because probiotic evidence is strain-specific and no strains are named, and there is no CFU count. “Three strains” is not information a buyer can act on.
No manufacturer is named on any page. Checkout routes to third-party order platforms, and one page's canonical URL points to an entirely different store domain.
The smallest, if any. You do not know which formula will arrive or what the doses are, and on the 60-day terms most of a six-bottle order falls outside the refund window.
No. It is a weight-management supplement marketed to adults generally. Some review titles circulating online call it a men's vitality gummy, which is wrong on every count.
Disclaimer. Concentrated green tea extract carries a rare but documented liver-injury signal; green tea, acetic acid and fermentable fibre can each lower blood glucose; green tea contains vitamin K, which affects warfarin; and fibre reduces absorption of levothyroxine and iron taken at the same time.
