Sodalean Review: Our Final Verdict After Reading Everything

This site has taken this product apart across fifty articles. This one puts it back together and states a position, because a review that never concludes is not much use.

The short version

Real ingredients assembled sensibly, sold under a name that means three different things, with no doses published anywhere.

What we concluded about the formula

The ingredient selection is sound. Chicory inulin is a properly characterised prebiotic with European regulatory recognition. Green tea extract has a substantial literature. Resistant starch and apple cider vinegar both have real mechanisms and reasonable supporting work. Nobody assembled these lists carelessly.

What is missing is every number. No milligram figure appears on any page, no Supplement Facts panel is displayed, no blend total is given, the probiotic blend names neither strains nor a CFU count, and two entries on one list are ingredient categories rather than ingredients.

And two of the named ingredients cannot work in a capsule at any dose. Inulin needs 5 to 15 grams; resistant starch 15 to 30. A capsule holds under one.

What we concluded about the purchase

This is where it becomes unusual. Three official-looking sites describe three different products — a powder, a prebiotic capsule and a metabolic capsule — with ingredient lists that do not overlap.

The money-back window is 180 days on one page and 60 on another, with the 60-day version requiring 30 days of use while calling itself unconditional. The same bottle count is priced up to $20 apart. Savings on both are anchored on reference prices nobody has paid. One page runs a countdown timer that resets on reload and reuses testimonial names seen on unrelated products. No manufacturer is named anywhere.

Against that: real ingredients, correct disclaimers, explicit exclusion of pregnancy and nursing, an honest refrigeration instruction and a clear vegetarian and lactose-free statement.

Would we buy it?

No — and for a reason that is unusual enough to state plainly. On most products the question is whether the doses are adequate. Here you cannot get that far, because you cannot establish what you would be receiving.

If what you want is fibre-based appetite support, buy inulin or psyllium powder. It costs a fraction, prints its dose on the tub, and delivers the amount the research actually used. If you want green tea extract, buy it standalone with the catechin standardisation stated.

If you buy this anyway: take the smallest package, screenshot the ingredient list and guarantee before paying, photograph the panel on arrival and compare, weigh weekly and compare averages, and decide by day 50. Ask a pharmacist first if you take diabetes medication, warfarin or levothyroxine, or have any liver concern.

And if your weight changed without a change in habits, none of the above is the right next step. A thyroid panel and an HbA1c are.

What actually moves the number

It is worth stating plainly on a page that carries an affiliate link: the interventions with real evidence for weight are not sold in bottles.

A sustained energy deficit is the mechanism underneath every method that works. What differs between diets is adherence, not physics, which is why the best approach is reliably the one a given person can keep.

Protein and fibre at meals improve satiety more than any capsule, at the amounts food naturally provides. Resistance training preserves lean mass during weight loss, protecting resting metabolic rate. Sleep matters more than most people expect — short sleep raises ghrelin, lowers leptin and reliably increases intake the next day.

Behavioural support has better trial evidence than any ingredient here. And for people who qualify, prescribed medication now produces effects an order of magnitude larger than anything in this category.

Independent background reading, none of it selling anything: the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, NIDDK on weight management and the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements on weight-loss supplements. Frequently asked

That depends which site you order from. One lists Green Tea Extract, Apple Cider Vinegar, a “Fiber Blend” and a “Vitamin B Complex”. Another lists Chicory Root Inulin, Potato Resistant Starch and a three-strain probiotic blend.

No. Not on any page we could find. No Supplement Facts panel is displayed, no blend total is given and no individual amounts appear anywhere.

Both, according to its own marketing. The bottle artwork and one site describe capsules; another says explicitly “one scoop a day — no pills, no fuss”.

Either 180 days or 60 days depending on the page — and the 60-day version requires at least 30 days of use before a claim while calling itself unconditional.

About this article

Written and fact-checked against primary sources: the printed Supplement Facts panel, the official order page, the published return policy and peer-reviewed literature. Every claim touching dosing, interactions or contraindications is reviewed by Dr. Salome Vantaa, PharmD, BCACP before publication. See our editorial policy.

Disclaimer. Concentrated green tea extract carries a rare but documented liver-injury signal; green tea, acetic acid and fermentable fibre can each lower blood glucose; green tea contains vitamin K, which affects warfarin; and fibre reduces absorption of levothyroxine and iron taken at the same time. Take the ingredient list to a pharmacist before ordering.
